Winemaker/Viticulturist
Exciting opportunity to work directly with a Master of Wine who is also a university-trained winemaker/viticulturist. As our company grows, we need also to expand our team. We are a small, dynamic, fast-growing, organic focused winery, looking for a good fit for our team.
About Daydreamer
Family-owned and operated since 2013, we farm all our grapes organically, with a focus on sustainability. We have a hands-off approach to winemaking, creating world-class natural wines from some of the best sites in the valley. Our winemaker (co-owner) holds the prestigious Master of Wine designation.
Qualifications:
Oenology/Viticulture degree/diploma and/or 2 years’ practical experience
Friendly, easy-going personality with a good sense of humour
Organized and detail oriented
Experience in cellar operations including laboratory.
Vineyard experience required.
Organic farming experience would be an asset
Forklift experience necessary
Tractor experience an asset
Mechanical skills in relation to winery and vineyard equipment maintenance an asset
Valid drivers’ licence
Ability to work in Canada required
Fit and healthy with the ability to lift 80 pounds
Responsibilities:
· Reports directly to owners.
· Assisting with all winery and vineyard operations
· Maintain cellar operations, including record keeping
· Performing lab analysis
· Blending trials
· Additions
· Cleaning tanks, barrels, equipment, and winery
· Work with contract bottling and/or filtration companies
· Work planning, ordering and scheduling
· Vineyard work during the growing season and pruning in the off season
· Tasting and marketing when required

Wine Shop Associate
We are searching for an experienced and motivated wine professional to join our team. The ideal candidate will emanate positivity, be clean and organized, detail oriented, possess exceptional communication skills, and thrive in both a team environment and on their own.

Responsibilities
Daily operation of the wine shop
Opening and closing duties
Offering an outstanding tasting experience for customers
Presenting the Daydreamer story
Housekeeping duties
Packing up orders and wine club packs
Organizing and restocking merchandise.
Ad-hoc vineyard and cellar work
